Hi all! Just wanted to give you a quick update about what’s been going on in my life lately. April has been a really slow blogging month for me for the simple fact that I’ve been so darn busy. I have so much content that I want to put out, and I fully intend to once I can set aside a couple of hours to do so.
I’ve spent the last few weekends out of town:
Tampa, Florida– Because my best friend gave me the most amazing birthday gift EVER and drove me up to play with baby tigers at Dade City’s Wild Things! We also spent a day in “The Sunshine City” downtown St. Pete as well. Thank you for the hundredth time, Claud!
Orlando, Florida– Went with my family to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure for a spur-of-the-moment weekend trip because, well, we are annual park passholders, so why the hell not, right?! Let me tell ya, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter does not get old. It just doesn’t!
Rock Hill, South Carolina– The weekend after that, I flew out to Rock Hill, South Carolina to watch Tyler race. For my readers who haven’t put the pieces together yet, my boyfriend races BMX professionally, so I try to travel to races when I can! Rock Hill has an incredible facility; probably my favorite track that I’ve visited yet.
Cape Coral, Florida– This weekend, I’m about two hours away from home, over on the West coast of Florida because Tyler has another race here. Taking full advantage of the Wifi in the hotel!
Aside from trips, I do have a couple of other things going on that I’m pretty excited to delve into once I’ve got the time..
-I’m now working alongside a travel blogger that I’ve admired for the longest time – Sabina from Girl vs. Globe. She’s brought me on-board as an admin to assist with her massive Facebook group.
-I’ve also been nominated for a Liebster Award by Ivana Abroad! My answers and nominations will probably be my next post 🙂 If any of my readers would like a nomination, comment below & I’d be happy to do so!
-Last week, a friend told me that reading my blog has inspired her so much that she decided to launch her own. I can’t even begin to tell you how great that made me feel. Comments like that are the best payment I could ever ask for <3
-Oh, and I’ve started a TESOL Course! 26 days remaining until I take my final examination for certification 🙂 YAY! Any of my readers teach English abroad? If so, I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips!
Anyhow, those are all of the things worth mentioning that have been going on in my life over the last month! It’s a good thing to be busy, but I think it’s starting to take a toll on me. I’m very ready to spend next weekend relaxing in the comfort of my own home, with no real plans and nowhere to be!
