My USA Bucket List.

It occurred to me recently that I’ve never actually written down my bucket list before. I’ve kept an ongoing, and certainly ever-growing list in my head, but just never got around to putting it down on paper…

Well, friends, it’s time.  I feel like this might just be a travel blogger’s rite of passage, am I right? Besides, think about how satisfying it is to physically check things off a list. :p

While there are places around the entire world that I plan on visiting someday, I figure my own backyard is a good place to start (because let’s be honest, if I made a comprehensive list, it would be way too long for anyone to want to read). The United States is massive and has so many different landscapes and incredible spots to see. I’ve been lucky enough to check off quite a few so far, and I don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon 😉 So without further adieu, here is my own version of the “Great American Bucket List”, in no particular order…

  • Paddleboard in Havasupai Falls
  • Roadtrip through Big Sur
  • Hike through Lower Antelope Canyon
  • Swim with a manatee in the Florida Keys
  • Drink coffee in Seattle
  • Visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
  • Watch Old Faithful erupt at Yellowstone National Park
  • Visit the Grand Canyon
  • Snorkel in Devil’s Den
  • Sit on the edge of Horseshoe Bend
  • Stay on Riverwalk in San Antonio
  • See The French Quarter in New Orleans
  • Tour the Coca-Cola Factory in Atlanta
  • Kayak in Lake Tahoe
  • Take a picture in front of the famous “LOVE” statue in NYC
  • Go to the top of the Empire State Building.
  • Visit Mount Rushmore
  • See “The Bean” in Chicago
  • Ride the Ferris Wheel in Navy Pier
  • Camp in Yosemite National Park
  • Hike in Bryce Canyon
  • Ski in Breckenridge, Colorado
  • Do a vineyard tour in Napa Valley
  • Cross the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Visit Arches National Park
  • See Central Park in wintertime
  • Attend Art Basel in Miami Beach
  • Go to the Painted Desert in Arizona
  • Photograph Salvation Mountain: California
  • See the White House
  • Gaze at the Northern Lights in Alaska
  • Ride the Monogahela Incline up to Mt. Washington
  • Take a hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque, New Mexico

What are YOUR must-see spots across the US? Or better yet, where have you visited that wasn’t on my list?! I’d love to hear them!

Hey now, I have the French Quarter on there! 😋 Tell me what else I should do if/when I ever head that way!

Love this! <3 Have you been to Bok Towers in mid-Florida? That is a cool site. My personal bucket list includes Blowing Rock in North Carolina and the Ben & Jerry's ice cream graveyard in Vermont.

There is just so much – What about Disneyland/Disneyworld, Broadway Show, and something in Vegas!

Haha, I had a feeling Vegas would come up 😉 Strangely enough, I’ve never really had the desire! I guess it’s just not my scene. And I’ve lived in Florida all my life so I’ve been to Disney enough for 5 lifetimes LOL. Broadway Show’s a good one, though! That one didn’t cross my mind! Thanks for your comment, Anisa!
