Have you ever sat and wondered what the best beaches around the world are? Do you plan on visiting as many beautiful places as possible? You’ve come to the right place! Take a look at the beaches in this list for an idea of some of the most gorgeous beaches you could ever hope to see in person.
Shoal Bay, Antigua
On this beach you’ll find beautiful fine sands and crystal blue water. It’s great for all kinds of different water sports, so it’s great if you’re looking to make a splash and stay active. You have amazing snorkeling and diving on offer, but you could even take the best inflatable sup if that’s more your thing. You’ll also find bars and open air restaurants to enjoy, so you never have to go far for refreshment!
Glass Beach, California
This beach is made from years of dumped litter – but you’d never be able to tell. The story is that from 1906-1967, things like glass, appliances, and vehicles were dumped in the sea. Later on down the line, a clean up program decided enough was enough and removed all of the harmful waste. The waves eventually broke down the glass and pottery, and they washed up on the sea as translucent, beautiful stones of different colors and shapes. It looks like a beach covered in jewels! Visitors are forbidden from removing them though, so don’t be tempted. Definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in the area.
This place is more like a cove than a beach. It’s very secluded, and backed by cliffs and woods making it the perfect place to gather your thoughts or read a good book. There’s white sand, pebbles, and clear blue water to enjoy. You might have this place to yourself outside of peak time. The best place to have some ‘you’ time.
Koh Kradan, Thailand
Choosing just one beach in Thailand can be difficult, but this is definitely one to watch. Here you can enjoy amazing snorkelling opportunities, as well as lay back on hammocks and look out at the beautiful clear waters. Somewhere you can really get away from it all. This beach suits those who would rather have a more tranquil trip to Thailand, instead of drinking way too much alcohol and partying until the sun comes up!
Bora Bora, French Polynesia
There are heavenly beaches all over Bora Bora with bright blue water and perfect sand. Matira is the only public beach on the island, and here you can mingle with the friendly locals. Just looking at a picture of this tremendous beach is enough to make you feel relaxed and peaceful! Don’t settle for that though. Bora Bora should be on every bucket list – honeymoon anyone?
